From Saturday 7th September 2019, we are delighted to be back at Oval Market every Saturday (except 14th Sept, when we will be at Bermondsey Street Festival) - right up to 21st December. NORTHCOTE ROAD SUMMER FETE

We will be located at pitch number 90 on Northcote Road, between Salcott Road and Bennerley Road. Look out for our distinctive ‘One of Fiona’s’ gazebo!

We are delighted to be taking part in the Northcote Road Summer Fete again and will have my gazebo full of map tea towels and cards celebrating Wandsworth, Battersea, Clapham and London south of the river. In particular I will have two new map cards with Northcote Road very much to the fore, plus occasion cards.

ST MARGARET'S FAIR

We are delighted to be back at St Margaret’s Fair again this summer. Find our mygorgeouscards gazebo located on the green.

LAMBETH PARISH FETE

Janice will be once again selling in the delightful Lambeth Palace Gardens for their Parish Fete. She’ll have some new A3 map prints of the area dated 1830 plus new map cards and colour map tea towels.

This is a rare chance to see the Lambeth Palace Gardens and support the local parish. It’s an excellent fair with plenty to amuse all ages.

HAM FAIR

MyGorgeouscardsCards and Map tea towels will be back at the fabulous Ham Fair, this Saturday 8th June. We will be selling our iconic map tea towels of the London area, plus one or two colourful kitchen linens at Ham Fair. Set on the very beautiful Ham Common edged with gorgeous buildings this community charity fund-raising fair has something for everyone. We will be selling 'new' 1746 map tea towels of the area to the south and west including Teddington and Hampton Court, colourful Stuart Gardiner info graphic kitchen towels and an eclectic mix of riotous birthday, greetings and occasion cards. RICHMOND MAY FAIR

I will be selling at this lovely fair on the SATURDAY. I will have a great range of gorgeous cards as well as map tea towels of predominately west London.

It was a great day last year in the splendid marquee. My map tea towels - Twickenham Green to Long Ditton taking in the sweep of the River Thames as it curls past Ham and Kingston and around Hampton Court in 1746 and Old Brentford to Sheen Common which covers Kew and east Richmond including Richmond Green in 1746 were particularly popular. Lots of new cards, letterpress and particularly not to be missed - Pattern Book cards of distinction and humour.

CANALWAY CAVALCADE

My colleague LOUISE of PLY COASTERS will be selling my map tea towels and map cards of central London at this lovely Bank Holiday event in Little Venice. Nearest Underground station is Warwick Avenue.
Canalway Cavalcade is a distinctive waterway festival that has been going since 1983. Organised by Inland Waterways Association volunteers, there will be an array of boats, trade show stalls and boater gatherings at this festival for water lovers. As well as the boating activities, there’ll be Morris dancing, competitions, food, a real ale bar and family-friendly activities making it an enjoyable day out for families. Plus, with the location being quaint Little Venice, this creates the perfect opportunity for a gentle stroll and an enjoyable view alongside your lunch and ale.

FEAST OF ST GEORGE

A colleague LOUISE who makes and sells map coasters PLY COASTERS will also be selling a few of my map tea towels and map cards in Traflagar Square during the Feast of St George orgnaised by the Major of London. She will be stocking the central London series and located in the HANDMADE IN ENGLAND Artisan Craft Market.

The Main Stage will feature a mix of traditional and contemporary acts including The London Folk Youth Ensemble and West End Musical Choir.  Funky house band Signal will be playing classic English tunes from Queen to Mumford and Sons. Get set to cheer and whoop as Greatest Dancer semi-finalists Frobacks perform some nifty dance moves!  

If you’re feeling hungry, head to the English Food Market for some mouth-watering fare.  Tuck into Eat The Farm’s Dirty Cow Burger, Jolly Hog’s Proper Porky Sausage bap or a Cheesy Marmite chip sarnie from The Big Butty.  If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you could try a yummy vegan treat from Ms Cupcake or an award-winning scoop from The Ice Cream Cab Company.  If milkshake’s more your thing, check out the Liquid Mobile Bar.  Take a pew in the central banqueting area and enjoy your feast.

England’s creativity is at the heart of the event with a ‘Handmade in England’ artisan craft market.

My good friend and colleague, MAJELLA EGAN, is selling MyGorgeousCards and Map Tea Towels at some fairs and markets. She’s well known at Herne Hill having sold her own hand made Liberty print fabric zip washbags, card cases, purses and yoga bags for several years. She’s delighted to be selling the map, greeting and birthday cards along with the map tea towels of London south of the river. She can also take orders to make your bespoke map cushion, wash bag or pencil case.

HERNE HILL MARKET

Right outside Herne Hill Railway station along the pedestrianised Railton Road, you will find fifty or more people offering the finest freshly cooked food from around the world, organic produce, meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, wine, beers, an eclectic mix of weekly changing stalls with cutting edge children's clothes, original artwork, homeware, vintage, ceramics, quilts, baby clothes, contemporary designs, hand-made and Fair Trade goods.

My location is generally right outside The Commerical pub opposite the station entrance.
I have a large collection of map tea towels celebrating London predominately south of the river and in December only Stuart Gardiner infographic tea towels - both of which make PERFECT PRESENTS under a tenner.  You'll also find a fantastic range of greetings, occasion and Christmas cards.

This will be my last Herne Hill Market and indeed last event as I move away from London in 2019. A huge thank you to all my really lovely customers who have supported and sustained me over the last six years.

FUSS FAIR

Absolutely delighted to be returning to sell at the great FUSS Fair set up along Staplehurst Road Hither Green/Lee SE13 5NB. Masses of art, craft and food stalls, plus mulled wine, Father Chrismtas, face painting, Christmas trees. This is a well organised, well attended, much loved community fair.

BLACKHEATH CHRISTMAS FAIR

The Friends of Age Exchange present their sixth Blackheath Christmas Fair in Blackheath Halls, Lee Road Blackheath SE3. There will be forty stallholders offering a wide range of top quality goodies sensitively priced appealing to all ages. I will be in the Great Hall near the stage with my map tea towels, local Christmas cards, coasters, notepads and greeting cards along with a wide range of colourful kitchen linens, trays, mugs and eco bags.

There is a modest £2.50 entrance fee which goes straight to Age Exchange the wonderful dementia charity we support.
