Wash the tea towel with other light coloured fabrics in 30 or 40 degree wash with non-bio detergent. NOTE The unbleached cotton will lighten if you use bio or a detergent with bleach. While it's still damp, iron the tea towel on the back NEVER on the print. This improves the absorbency of the towel when the medium hot iron breaks down the cotton fibres. It also feels a great deal better and after only a short while will be brilliant polishing glasses as well as drying the crockery.
The print should stay visible for 15 to 20 years so long as you never iron on the printed side.
